[David][BT] additional information for M7 Foxconn RFQ_PRS_SRS
Description
Dear Qualcomm Team,
Always thank you for your kind support.
Refer to Case Number 00872258, we can find the description adhere.
--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<----
--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<----
1. Not support : SAP, SDAP, HDP, BIP, SYNCH, BNEP, MCAP?
[A] SAP, SDAP, BNEP are supported, rest are not.
(David)
--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<----
A. HDP, BIP, SYNCH, MCAP are not in your POR. If we would like to have them, do you think it is possible that Qualcomm would create escalated "Feature Request" after we had contacted our TAM or CPM?
B. Please help to correct me if there is mis-understanding adhere.
You had confirmed both Service Discovery Protocol and below Service Discovery Application Profile are supported.
According to the page 9 of SIG SDAP reference, your SDAP would include
(a). "the service discovery user application (SrvDscApp) in a local device (LocDev) interfaces with the Bluetooth SDP client to send service inquiries and receive service inquiry responses from the SDP servers of remote devices (RemDevs)"
(b). "the SrvDscApp interfaces with the baseband via the BT_module_Cntrl entity that instructs the Bluetooth module when to enter various search modes of operation."
-------->8-------->8-------->8-------->8----
...
3-k. USB attach/detach when transferring file over bluetooth?
Can be added
-------->8-------->8-------->8-------->8----
-------->8-------->8-------->8-------->8----
Firstly, It seems Google defaultly supported HDP, could you help to explain why HDP not being supported by Qualcomm?
I didn't see HDP being supported in Qualcomm QDID B018762 at the same time.
Secondly, Erin mentioned supporting SAP, yet I can't find supported SAP information in Qualcomm QDID B018762.
Could you happenn to explain us the reason why?
Thirdly, could you help to declare that "3-k. USB attach/detach when transferring file over bluetooth? Can be added" means "Yes" and supported?
Thank you.
