The sound of Alarm is played abnormally when FM radio in running in background with headphone and BTHF connected.



Description

Dear QCT,

Following are our test steps
--------------------------------------------------
Precondition:
1. MUT is connected with headphone and BTHF
--------------------------------------------------
Step by step Description:
1. Launch FM radio -> search channels and play;
2. Set one alarm that will be expired after 1 minute;
3. Wait until the alarm expired, check the sound from loudspeaker and headphone.
Actual result:
The sound of alarm is played abnormally in loudspeaker, The sound will be break in start playing alarm.(Fail rate:3/10)

The audio path is right.
I think following logs are root cause of this issue.

Can you give me some suggestion for solving this issue?

Notification sound is played on Bluetooth headset as well as Phone speaker. device tries to configure BT headset but some devices delay sending response causing slight choppiness
As A2DP blocks audio thread during setup time.

I have attached one test patch, can you please test and let us know the results.

I can observe this issue on three different BT headsets.
It is not only happened with specific BT headset.

Dear Customer,

From the provided logs, AudioFlinger write is blocked for almost 1 sec. we are checking if there is any issue in BT A2DP layer side.

One question, are you observing this issue with specific BT headset or all BT model headsets?
