WCN3660_BT 4.0 Auto test question



Description

We want to set up BT4.0 automated testing.
Instrument is Agilent N4010A.
BT 4.0 tool name is "AgN4010BT4_ATE" from agilent.
However,BT4.0 can not recognize the com port,but BT 3.0 is normal (tool is "virtual front panel").
error information : COM57 Opened
COM57 dutStopTx() Failed !
COM57 Closed.
So we want to check BT4.0 testing environment settings (another com port? HCI? Baud rate? or...).

Thank you for your kind help.
We can test the WCN3660 BLE manually.
By the way, do you happenn to know that whether your ftmdaemon service can deal with RealTerminal HCI command directly or not.
As we know, it supposed to send MUT the HCI command via UART raw data.

Hi Alan,

At the first step before you start to run any automation test, can you double confirm if you can test the WCN3660 BLE manually or not?

For the DUT side (WCN3660) BT4.0 testing environment setting, it only requires to configure the DUT into FTM mode and trigger BLE TX only or BLE RX only burst.

Please check with dutStopTx() failure with Agilent team as it looks not the Qualcomm FTM API.
