Dear Qualcomm Team,
I am writing to ask about Qualcomm Jelly Beam Bluetooth Solution.
1. For the incoming Android Jelly Beam BSP, Linux kernel is 3.4 and Bluez is 4.93, right?
2. Citing the QDID B18866 and B18762, above BSP with 3.4 kernel and 4.93 Bluez should support Bluetooth v4.0 + LE, right?
3. Does above BSP support Bluetooth v4.0 LE all profiles adhere?
a. GATT Client
b. GATT Server
c. Health Thermometer Profile
d. Health Themometer Service
e. Find Me Profile
f. Proximity Profile

Hi David,

Health Thermometer Profile, Health Themometer Service, Find Me Profile are not certified into any QDID by Qualcomm yet.

Thank you for your kind clarification.
Revealing QDID B019145 in which involved GATT client/server didn't show us the fact - supporting HTS,HTS,HTS,FMP.
Are they as same as proximity?

Proximity is not certified into any QDID by Qualcomm. However reference evidences are collected and can be provided on requirement basis.

1. Android Jelly Bean: Linux kernel version 3.4, bluez is 4.93
2. QDID B18866/18762:Kernel 3.0, BlueZ 4.93
3. GATT client, GATT server, FindMe, Proximity profiles are supported
4. No HDP, this profile is from original android source code, but they don't release any application for this profile.

According to the information from our customer, Qualcomm SW Release should involve tranditional Bluetooth HDP profiles and GATT-based profile - GATT Server, FindMe and Proximity.
Do you happen to have related SIG QDID for these profiles?
